Alex Polizzi - The Fixer Campbell’s Flowers

What a lovely day. I was told to go to La Patisserie in Ecclesall Road, Sheffield (my kind of meeting place!). Little did I know that hiding away up stairs was the lovely Tracey Campbell of Campbell’s Flowers, awarded Best Wedding Florist for the whole of the North East by the Wedding Industry Awards two years in a row.

Knowing I needed urgent floral tuition ‘The Fixer’ had arranged for Tracey to impart her many years for floral experience and wisdom on to me. Tracey regularly holds Floral Workshops for budding florist and I was invited to join one of these workshops.

Obviously very nervous having been asked to show my floral knowledge Tracey and the ladies attending the workshop made it such a joy to learn. Her way of teaching made our project easy to understand and follow. It was relax and friendly with everyone helping each other. Tracey’s whole approach to teaching floristry made you want to learn. I didn’t want to leave.

Little did I know at the time how important some of those snippets of information would be and come into practice at the Tetley launch event.

I would like to thank all the ladies that joined in the workshop and made it such a joyful day. Thank you also to Hoosh owner of La Patisserie who kept us watered and fed on beautiful cakes.
Thank you Tracey for the laughter, your time and floristry knowledge.

Although Campbell’s Flowers didn’t feature in the episode here are some lovely images of our day courtesy of Sarah Ropke of Key Reflections Photography.
