Inspired by Indian Summers drama on Channel 4 we created our Indian Spring table setting for the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
Copper coloured vases hold these beautiful mini Indian Spring gardens. Bright green snowballs of Viburnum look vibrant against the copper as do the vivid orange and yellow Marisa Roses. Soft tones of lilac Tulips and pink Eustoma were used to create contrast against the bright colours. The ‘gardens’ were dotted with yellow Tanacetum that appear to be raising their heads towards the spring sunlight.
Indian Summers is set in the summer of 1932 at a time when India dreamed of independence but the British are still trying to cling to power. A riveting watch: http://www.channel4.com/programmes/indian-summers
..And of course our Indian Summer setting is on its way!
